Commission a piece

I open a limited number of commission slots each season. If you've fallen in love with something in the portfolio and want something similar or if you have a creature, garden, or birds you'd like painted I'd love to hear about it.


How We Begin

In our first conversation, I take time to understand what you’re hoping for — the size of the piece, the colours you’re drawn to, the feeling you want the artwork to hold, and any special ideas or elements you’d love included.

Sketch & Direction

Once I have a clear sense of your vision, I create a few simple sketches.
This helps us confirm the overall direction and canvas size before I begin painting.

My Creative Process

My painting process is very intuitive and flow‑based.
I work best when I can fully immerse myself in the artwork without stopping and starting, so I don’t offer progress photos or check‑ins along the way.
This keeps the creative energy uninterrupted and allows the piece to unfold naturally.

The Final Artwork

When the artwork is complete, you receive the finished piece — the final version that developed organically, just as it was meant to.

Why This Process Matters

This way of working keeps me connected to the heart of the art and allows me to create my most honest, meaningful work.

Commission pricing (starting from $300)

Prices include material and standard packaging. Shipping is calculated separately based on size and destination.

50% deposit secures your slot. I start work once the deposit lands.

Final 50% on completion. Once you're happy, the painting is packaged and shipped to you. Your Commision comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.

What I love painting

Native Australian birds and animals
Mythical creatures (think floral, dreamlike portraits)
Garden scenes and botanical compositions

What I don't take on

  • Direct copies of other artists' work
  • Anything I don't feel confident I can do justice to (I'll always tell you upfront)
